Newsletter November 2025
Dear Friends and Supporters of Dunia ya Heri,
we were asked about recent reports in public media, about the presidential elections in Tanzania, which were characterized by unrest in several major cities. But thankfully, the area where we are situated, 50 km from Dar es Salaam, was not affected.
Here in Tanzania, we are also feeling the effects of climate change: this year's dry season has seen an unusual number of rainy days. While our agriculture benefits from this, the unpaved roads to Dar es Salaam have become almost impassable.
Despite the challenges of recent months, we look back with immense gratitude: the positive development of our 40 children brings us great joy.
Thanks to our local helpers
The Gajjar family (our auto repair shop): regular support with food, clothing, school supplies - and drone footage for our website.

José Luis Gomez (Spanish Tiles): donations of laptops, printers, toys, and valuable advice on natural remedies.
Kibidula Mission: 60-80 kg of avocados every week - a wonderful nutrition for our children.
Eden Valley Mission: support from well-trained care-takers and assistance with purchasing affordable soybeans.
Four friends from England: brought clothing and dried fruits. In the future they will spread the news about Dunia ya Heri in their local community.
YAS Telekommunikation: a generous donation in kind - 100 kg of flour, 100 kg of rice, 50 kg of beans, 45 kg of detergent, and much more.
The staff of the NEPHRO ONE clinic: organized additional food and household goods.
NCBA Bank: donated a professional sewing machine for our children's vocational training.

Construction projects and general progress
Our new goat shed is complete, the beehouse is nearly finished, and the completion of two classrooms for our Primary School is planned for the coming year.
Additionally, two dormitories for teenagers will need to be built in order to help the older children to transition toward a more independent living.
Our redesigned homepage with updated content is now available. It is translated into all major languages with the help of AI.

Unfortunately, two of our three volunteers, Anna Bazan and Ana Lorena from Brazil, will be leaving us at the end of the year. We - and especially the children - will miss them dearly.

A thank you to everyone
With your help, we are able to continue covering the monthly operating costs of approximately 12,000 USD - a tremendous gift.

Every donation, every act of help, ensures that Dunia ya Heri remains a place of security, hope, and future. You are part of our Dunia ya Heri story - and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for writing this beautiful story together with us.
Warm greetings from Tanzania,
Your Dunia ya Heri Team
